They pride themselves on being well-learned and good at debate, but then you actually make an effort to do so in good faith and they respond in mass downvotes and petty insults. I've reached a point where I just respond with beneath-the-belt insults that they respond to by reporting me for bullying lmao

I miss lemmy before reddit migration to be honest. There used to be a friendly community of people who could have interesting and civilized discussions. Now we have a bunch of these chuds running around flinging feces.
