Just received the invoice from the sparky after our mains entry point burnt out and needed an after-hours replacement. It's in the ballpark I was expecting (in fact maybe a bit under), but not so high that it's worth going through house insurance to only save a couple of hundred once I pay the excess.

Thanks for the update! I'm often surprised by low tradesman bills, mostly because I always expect them to cost a fortune.
