This was hilariously inevitable when they made him a hero. The only way to end the war is to make him a villain next.

We're slowly getting there it seems with western press all of a sudden discovering that there's mass corruption, nazis, autocracy, and all the other things they were pretending weren't happening for the past year and a half. Icarus flew too close too the sun, and the wax is starting to melt.
