Lemmy.world grew from around 51000 total users the moment 3rd party reddit apps started to shut down on June 30 to 71000 total users at the time of this post (July 1). That's a 40% growth in about 12 hours!

I am suffering from the same issue. I opened my browser's devtools and noticed https://lemm.ee/static/e20bfa7/js/client.js is returning 404. So I turned on my VPN into a random other country (I chose Norway), and the issue stopped. Could it be that your CDN is not serving the client.js in some parts of the world?
I have purged my CDN, could I ask you to check if it's still 404 with your original config?

Yes.. Switching VPN servers fixed the issue for me. @sunaurus@lemm.ee. The trouble I was seeing was on Mullvad Portugal server.
