I'd like to ask how immigration is a problem to you? Immigration means a larger workforce and more value in the economy. If immigrants are "taking jobs" and making people unemployed as many people like to say, that isn't a problem with immigration, that's a problem with the way our economy has always been set up. Being out of a job and unemployed shouldn't destroy your life, take away your healthcare and education, etc., and in civilized countries they don't have nearly as much of an issue with that. So is it something else? Is it being against cultural diversity?

Undocumented immigrants also can't vote in state or federal elections. VERY FEW municipalities allow undocumented immigrant voting, so few in fact (17 to be exact, if you include ones that only allow them to vote in school board elections, like SF, Oakland, and Chicago) that it's absolutely a non-issue.

BTW many EU countries allow non-EU citizens to vote (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Lithuania).

I'm also curious as to which "half" that Trump accomplished that you're referring to. Spending was extremely high under Trump. He was KNOWN for making national debt skyrocket, increasing government spending a ton in order to tax the rich less, fucking up foreign relations including trading which set up a terrible future for prices. And all of this without even facing a pandemic. The economy complex and the answer to its problems isn't just "stop printing money lol".

Trump also, completely contrary to what he campaigned on, does all he can to increase illegal immigration. He did absolutely nothing to stop or reduce it, he just used it as something to convince people to vote for him. It's been decreasing since Obama and Trump didn't contribute at all. Meanwhile, Trump has been actively working against introducing legislation on immigration because he doesn't want Biden to get good press, he has influenced Republicans directly to kill multiple bills that would contribute to controlling immigration.

That only leaves voting, which Trump heavily worked against... He definitely did really want to make more states ID voters, but not because of some goal to make voting more fair or streamlined – he actually put much of his effort making sure voting WASN'T fair or easy, and tried making voting much more of a pain in the ass, especially for poorer and marginalized people, to lower voter turnout – it was to encroach on peoples' right to vote by making it have an extremely high personal cost. Naturally people who are far more well off and have a lot of time, people who are privileged, which are generally people who vote Republican, will be the ones who can afford to put the time and effort and money in.

That's true, immigration is also good in terms of increasing national wealth. The only reason to tighten borders further is because of fear of the other, an irrational fear at that
