And the third party protest voters gave us Trump because like it or not, that's how it works.
Wrong. The candidate is the one responsible to earn the votes to win. Blame the loser candidate for not doing a good enough job.
Sweet summer child. The loser candidate is not the one promising fascism. Can't start rebuilding the house while it's still on fire.
Then that candidate better do the absolute best to win by a landslide.
Spoiler: he won't. We will once again be stuck with the party of screw-the-working-poor vs the party of screw-the-working-poor-slightly-less.
When tf are we finally going to get ranked choice voting. It won't solve all our problems but it would make me feel better.

The loser candidate in 2016 is the one that elected Trump in the primaries. They are definitely to blame for Trump.
