What if when we die, we respawn, as another human, or even, another species.

Each life, from birth to death is a roguelike run.

Weew, if it too difficult, will you reset for new run :v ? Just kidding. But also, I know that modern roguelike game have something to make you stronger, and inherited into new run, on and on. Kind of permanent upgrades.

So, perhaps, if this run too hard, endure it. Which will make you "get-gud", and hope for some useful bonus, permanent upgrades for further runs.

What do you think ?

Can you customise before run ? Maybe, maybe not.

Perhaps you not yet unlock it Perhaps you do, but you didn't remember. Maybe you need a perk to keep your memory to know how you customise your run.

Perhaps, I purposely choice a hard game for more point, or try to go for a rare achievement. Yah

It use to be PvE. But people decided it will be fun to play PvP because PvE is too easy.

Now each run is so difficult.

I find that understanding the underlying mechanics helps. I always ask why until there are no more answers, and trust myself to know when an answer feels wrong.

trust the process, be patient with the outcome
