The public has not seen her in a while, there is a hypothesis that she is in an induced coma after a failed surgery. Apparently the royal family released a fabricated photo (AI of Photoshop) showing her

The photo is absolutely true. Not just are there several AI artifacts but her face in the photo is identical to a photo from a photoshoot that came from vogue, meaning it's very likely that she wasn't at this photoshoot at all.

Honestly, particularly as someone who only married into the royal family, my heart goes out to her for whatever is going on. It's clear that since that operation she's been out of the public eye, whether she's just recovering, in a coma or as some believe dead, it's still sad.

What I don't understand is the cover up and mystery, particularly when it comes to the wife of the future king after the massive amounts of drama and conspiracy around Diana.

Yeah... that's the thing... What could be so messed up that you want to cover it and not say anything about it? Maybe at the end is nothing crazy and she didn't want to share or talk about it or whatever but feels super weird.

Some people online were speculating due to the description of it being an abdominal surgery and the timeline that perhaps she got a BBL

[-] ipkpjersi@lemmy.ml 2 points 8 months ago

I'd agree with you, especially since BBLs are super dangerous and could definitely explain that she had a fat embolism that travelled to her brain and caused a stroke, but I'd say it's pretty unlikely. Also I'd say it's even more unlikely that she would want a BBL as a member of the royal family with all eyes on her. Who knows what happened, it's weird.

And the Photoshop job is really bad. Complete novices can perform a better job than that.

It isn't even a matter of skill, it's a matter of attention + basic file management and/or workflow process.

I cannot imagine a scenario where the one editing the image is actually responsible for this fuck up.

If I had to guess, I would assume the social media management team accessed the editors computer without their knowledge.

Either this or the editor was high as fuck.
