Quite an interesting resource. While I can not determine how accurate the simulation is to reality, it appears that the methods you outline are in fact 5% better at dealing with situations with high strategic voting.
Yep, there’s actually another good resource that shows why it’s the case and why IRV is quite terrible (barely better than plurality). I’ll try to find it
