Did you know: early 20th century French blade sharpeners would lay face down, to preserve their posture and neck. But the work was cold, so they’d ’hire’ dogs to lay on their legs to keep them warm!
Of course, who doesn't know that? That's what led to the great dog revolution of 1925 where they marched to Paris to demand equal pay and rights, which is why dogs have voting rights in France today. I think. And if it's not true it's still a fascinating story I made up right now.
Either way, working face down to save the neck sounds pretty good. I should redo my work-from-home environment. Thanks for the fun fact!
