I'm sick to death of being treated like a potential thief at self service.
I hate pulling the race card, but it's noticeable how different I'm treated. And it's gotten much worse since the cost of living issues.
They will come and literally stand behind me watching me scan everything. Im not dressed in rags or anything. Even when I'm on business work clothes.
Some of those checkout people seem to have gone crazy with the modicum of perceived power they have over people.

I live near an Aldi, but its soo fucking good having a self serve that doesn't accuse you of theft.
The staff are also rostered on at the same times, so you also get to know the stores staff.
Your aldi has self serve? I've never seen that before
