I've been there before.
Breakups are the worst โ even if he's a complete and utter jerk (and from the sounds of it, he definitely is).
Know that it's natural to cry, it's natural to mourn.
And if you have a sleepless night, no-one will begrudge you if you take a day off work or cancel your plans for tomorrow.
There's no rush. Give yourself time to grieve.
It might take time, but know things will get better.
