Yep, it is inherent in human identity and it's absence is the likely cause of many, many mental health issues. The social structure of pre-~~contact~~ forced christian re-education of indigenous tribes is the product of hundreds of thousands of years of people just straight chilling and is, imo, the natural state of human social structures without the fuckery of abrahamic religions.
