Hi, my name is Khan and I am the person behind Devabhumi. I am of Indian origin, and I have always been interested in non-European rpg settings. There is such a treasure trove of untapped stories, monsters, and legends in Indian Culture, which can provide fresh and unique content for your campaigns. As a fellow brown dnd player I'm interested. I think it would help to have a snippet of lore though. I couldn't find one at a glance, though your maps seem nice.
I'm also curious if you reworked equipment. Dnd considers pretty much all non-European equipment (weapons, shields, armor) to be "exotic" and is therefore barred from many standard classes. Obviously a dm could also rule on this but I'm curious.
Thank you! The events in the land of Devabhumi take place in the Dwapara-Yuga, where new technologies and magic are used quite often among different nations and states. The world is in a delicate balance with the emergence of these technologies, the rising ambition of various kings and queens, and the growing power of Asuras.
We have reworked equipment entirely with new weapons, properties, armor, etc.
