Fun fact: That's because the official Firefox Android app is codenamed Fennec. Fennec F-Droid is just a re-compile of the app with only the open source code, hence the name!
Is Fennec still being actively developed or maintained? i can barely find any info about it
I use it, and it still gets updates.
It's my main browser on android.
