I haven't tried to troubleshoot this, but I think the first thing I'd probably try is to see how long
sudo systemctl restart systemd-journald.servicetakes, whether it's specifically blocking at something on boot or whether it always takes a long time to come up.@tal@lemmy.today great hint, will try this, thanks!
