TSMC can't find anyone capable of doing the required work for the planned minimum wage. Decides to hire no one at all.
TSMC knows they're fucked if this factory gets built.
I guess it's time for the world to reevaluate factory work wages. Everyone is an academic because that's where the money is/was, but the factories can't find workers because we were told that machines will do the factory work for us by now.

Elections in Taiwan are happening next year, and it's widely expected that KMT gets back into power. If that happens Taiwan will likely restart the dialog over peaceful repatriation. The fabs are a big bargaining chip for Taiwan, and if the factory in US gets built they lose that. So, it might be a political game they're playing there.

And yet you keep spreading your nonsense. If you are not using this website as a unique chance to learn about the real world and fact check your information bubble, and are unwilling to listen and learn from others, what the heck are you even doing here?
