Hello. Does anyone know of a coloring app for iPad where the app tells me what color goes where? Like those color by number apps except I want to use my apple pencil to color in the sections instead of just tapping to fill in the section.

Have you considered downloading some color by number PDFs? (Such as from here) and then using the markup features and the Apple Pencil to color them in yourself? You have to stay inside the lines of course as there isn’t an app backing it but might be the closest analogue to actually coloring for relaxation.

That actually is an amazing idea! It would be exactly what I'm looking for, and I can draw in the app of my choice where I feel drawing is the best! I'm gonna go with your solution. Thanks a crap ton for the idea!!!!

Maybe Paint.ly or Pixel Art - Coloring would be good for you. I’ll go with Pixel Art.

Tried Paint.ly, has the problem I've found with other apps where you tap to fill in the sections, instead of coloring them in with the pencil. I tried searching for "Pixel Art - Coloring" on the app store, but couldn't find an app with that specific name. Do you possibly have a link I could follow to try the app you're talking about?

Thanks! Was able to find it by its icon. It isn't exactly what I was searching for, but is far closer than any application I've tried so far! I think I'm satisfied with using it at least. Thanks a bunch for the suggestion and link!

Have you tried Happy Color by Numbers?

I do not have an iPad, nor an Apple Pencil, so I do not know if it supports using the pencil. But it’s free to try.

I have tried that application. Unfortunately, it isn't what I'm looking for. It requires you to tap the area to fill it in instead of letting me color it in with the pencil manually. Thank you for the suggestion though!
