If there isn't any post they left to act on, it's maybe an oversight in the lemmy-ui design. Should open a bug on lemmy-ui that there should be an option on the moderator listing on the community page. Perhaps some alternate to lemmy-ui has the option, there are lot of new apps out there. A small JavaScript API client could probably remove it with a dozen lines of code without having to resort to resort to going directly to PostgreSQL.
Look at a post or comment of theirs in that community; you should see an option for "remove as mod".
