I’d like to ignore all the posts from the bot (named bot) that simply brings Reddit content over, since the vast majority of the time, the real content that would be valuable would be the comments, and those aren’t brought over with the posts, so… it’s not useful to me. Is there a way to do that with Memmy?

Also, it might be nice to browse All sometimes but specifically ignore certain communities I’m not interested in. Viewing by blacklist instead of by whitelist, sort of thing.

Yes, it's possible.

Go to a community's or user's page and in the upper right corner there are three dots, in that menu is an option to block.

You should be able to, or at least this is how I do under the Connect app for Lemmy. I simply just hit the three vertical dots, which brings up additional options for the post.

Hmm. In Memmy, I only get to report your post, not ignore you.

Are you able to get additional options when viewing the user's account directly by chance?

Ah, that was it. Have to go to the user page, can’t just do it when I see the post/reply.

That's annoying, sometimes I need to do that to block an individual's account also.

Happy Lemming!
