Pop_OS has a toggle. Not pure gnome or Ubuntu, but close enough/better.

More accurately 'not anymore' since this release breaks gTile and others...
What did they remove this time?
Nothing immediately springs to mind, unless you count stuff like replacing the old image viewer with a better one "removing stuff".
They added some stuff though. Excellent release.
