Lines are done with a pen.
Shading is via a bottle of waterproof ink, a paintbrush, and water.
So in a way it's a watercolour, but all ink.

Thanks, that does help. I’ve mostly seen inks as black but the colours are nice here
This ink wash thing is new to me, and I agree. I'd only ever thought of black. However, this is a beautiful blue, and I'm staring down the rabbit hole, as I now see all the beautiful inks out there. Some are smooth and rich, others granulate, and are matte and muted. Too much fun.

The main two ways to participate are to draw daily like a marathon or every second day like a semi-marathon. The operative word being marathon.
