Having a side path done. Two nice blokes. Their first question: "What are the parking inspectors like around here?". I hadn't had enough coffee yet so I'm like "what?" Took me way too long to understand that question. I is not prepared for that sort of question at 7:30am.

I'm undecided on whether or not I should cancel my gym membership and switch to the council instead. The gym I'm currently at is a group fitness gym which is a highly motivating and supportive environment, and great for making sure I see people considering I don't really have a third space besides school and work. However, I miss going to a gym with machines and the council one has a pool. Plus it's cheaper. Only the social aspect missing. I think it's a case of loss aversion here.

I should add that I'm not using it as often as I like to get value out of it.

the social aspect is of very great value. I would stay where you are.
