Be my guest. I had the same thought but can't put the joke together.
How about: My son came home from a birthday party with lice yesterday. I hate to nitpick, but it was a lousy party.
Unfortunately I don't know enough about the practice to make a nitpicking about nitpicking jokes

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.
