In the last day or so I have noticed that images on nearly all posts appear to be low resolution / blurry. Anyone else experiencing this? I am on version 2.18.4 iOS 17.6.1 iPhone 13 Pro.

Lemmy devs broke it, I have a fix hitting the stores soon.

Weird. All post images load perfectly fine on my end, but I have seen others complain of the issue you describe. I am also running version 2.18.4, but I am on Android instead.

Ah thanks for this. I’ve been too lazy to migrate off .ml but this is the push I needed

Yeah that might be it I guess. Lemmy.ml is the OG instance that the devs of Lemmy maintain though right? I guess they may have pushed a recent update that other instances don’t have which could have caused the issue? @dessalines@lemmy.ml any idea if this could be the case?

Looks like this was the issue and a fix has just been deployed. Fast work!

I’m actually wondering now if the fix has not been deployed but has been added for an upcoming release? My app still has the issue.. anyone else know?

Seeing this as well, just noticed right now and came here to look for a post. Edit: same version and iOS 18.1
