I already had some cardboard I’d sealed with water based gloss medium, intended for painting on. And a bunch of brushes. So I picked the largest flat brush and painted a thin layer of dark yellow. When that’s dry I’ll do another and then a few layers of light yellow.

It bugs me to be using up my paints (especially one colour) but having a practical need did lead to actually using it.

The leaves of my zucchini have tiny bugs on them and the interbutts tells me it’s whiteflies.

Guess I’m about to be mixing a soapy water solution and painting paper strips yellow to make sticky traps with Vaseline and dish soap.

Edit: ok apparently soapy water is harmful to plants

Beach walk and quick shopping trip done, now to hide inside for the day and plan/book a trip. Cool thoughts to you all!
