How early is too early to make the thread? Invariably I wait til almost time and then get distracted

My parcel is now marked as "in transit" at Truganina. I live nowhere near Truganina, and considering this bloke is the local postie who I thought only did a couple of suburbs, I wonder why

Sure hope he's not planning on sending me over half an hour away to pick it up...
