An annual report documents 2,870 active cases of groundwater contamination around the state. Groundwater provides more than half of the state’s water supply.

LOL they'll solve this problem soon, they'll just get rid of the regulators and then get rid of the regulations

Just like how Abbot addressed the lack of a rape exception for Texas’s abortion law:

Rape is a crime, and Texas will work tirelessly to make sure we eliminate all rapists from the streets of Texas by aggressively going out and arresting them and prosecuting them and getting them off the streets. So goal no. 1 in the state of Texas is to eliminate rape so that no woman, no person, will be a victim of rape.
