As HHS Secretary Becerra faced criticism from Congress about migrant minors working dangerous jobs, the Labor Dept. said the number of children it found working illegally was up 44%.

Exactly the Democrats nor Republicans give a shit about the workers. So no surprise that they don't address this issue. Instead they sit back and let states repeal child labor laws that we fought and bleed to put an end to.

I'm friends with my neighborhood bar owner but heard him today with a rep harping on about nobody wanting to work and it took everything in me to not, in front of everybody, tell him that it's absolutely lazy people and not the fact that corporate response to the need to make rent was met by multiple republican states with a push to reinstate child labor.
