im reading this shit and he keeps repeating right wing bs talking points.... saying mlp is the subject of a pedo cult? and the author writes for a paper called "the american conservative", immediately lost all credibility. i thought that lil cut off paragraph was silly but the rest of it is just obscene.
It's because he's a right-winger, a particularly fucked up "orthodox Catholic." It's very rich for him to be complaining about fascism b/c his ideal society is basically Francoist Spain

That’s what this analysis reads like.
Also what is this guy on? Yeah… emergency services do have carte-blanche authority to prevent and stop emergencies. That’s why they exist… a firefighter or paramedic are allowed to break down your door if you’re having a heart attack or your house is on fire. The police are allowed to kick down your door without a warrant if there is an active threat inside. Firefighters are allowed to destroy your car if it’s in the way of a pump and they need to access the pump to put out a fire. An ambulance is allowed to break road laws, speeding laws, and run red lights in order to get to a hospital.
Emergency services being granted leeway to prevent casualties and stop emergencies does not make them some fascist government apparatus.
Also “emergencies seem to happen all the time”… yeah…. They do? Does this guy think you’re only allowed to have a certain amount of problems a week? There is a reason sirens are constantly blaring in every major city in the world.

Since this is some right wing fascist guy, I’m led to believe that they hate the police not because of some legitimate grievances, but because they prevent him from committing crimes that he would want to commit; ie, hate crimes, death threats, intimidation and coercion, just to guess.
Basically he thinks that police are some communist government apparatus and NOT fascist enough.
