FYI, c/football has migrated instances; we're staying put, cuz we've got a big community here at least on paper, and also cuz I personally don't want to figure out moving stuff especially since we have this bot and I'm not realllly in contact with the other mods anymore though I technically do have their DMs lol
I'm just one barely adult guy doing this for enjoyment and stuff so I hope that's understandable XD

Hei hei! Why the jump, out of curiosity?
There was this kerfuffle, and honestly it was just the straw on the camel; the lemmy.world admins have not been the best about addressing my concerns. I think I'll keep the old account, but since the username's the same, I figure there's minimal confusion by me hopping around instances.
Missed it entirely, as well. Honestly I'm just gonna stay on here cuz like. moving things would be annoying. But fair enough.
Frankly the only reason we would have to move would be on principle. It's why I started using my slrpnk account as my main account but I don't think we need to move the whole community unless the mods' drama starts to affect us within c/gunners, which seems unlikely right now.
I haven't had to do a single thing with moderation for months, I don't think I'll have to start any time soon :p
Absolutely no judgment whatsoever - I've heard secondhand how annoying it is to migrate and I'm not about to raise a stink because y'all haven't.
Fair enough. I must have missed that entirely...
That's another thing that I thought was a little shady... usually all posts on the /Announcements com are sticked so people see them, and this wasn't. It's also the only controversial announcement they've made recently, which really rubs me the wrong way. Even if it wasn't on purpose.
