This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Fedi is very liberal. Support for Ukraine is a foregone conclusion generally, & I also found out the server I was on (an LGBTQ server) was moderated by a zionist when I started talking about the genocide.

I did find a corner where disability justice, imperialism, & trans liberation were the baseline, but it took a while

You can find tons of those liberal mixtures. In college, I knew several trans people who were pretty racist and loved the confederate flag. I knew several white feminists that will talk your ear down on how they were oppressed, but would then talk about how black people are criminals and black men being around doesn’t make them feel safe. And I met tons of gays racist as well.

College literally made me realize that just because one person belongs to a marginalized group doesn’t mean that they cant been huge assholes and liberals in other ways against other marginalized groups.

Edit: I am black and they would talk to me because I was “one of the good ones”

Yeah, this was what I learned making the switch from Twitter to open source social media a few years back. Twitter was becoming worse & worse specifically with harassment campaigns by white queers against Black queers so I ended up trying to find a better space that was more open to talking about racism. I thought I was fine if I found a specifically LGBTQ server but most of them have huge racism problems. The only corner I found is mostly Black & they are constantly being accused of shit, being called unreasonable or aggressive, etc by white queers. I also noticed they have a lot of ableism in those spaces. I usually see them parroting State Dept talking points too.

Local Discord banned me & called me a Nazi for defending Hamas lol. It's everywhere.

Wouldn't you be a Nazi if you were against Hamas? They're fighting to not be killed and starved while in a concentration camp.

[–] sunbleachedfly@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

Yes. They used multiple arguments that were straight up genocide denial (human shields, Hamas actually blew up those hospitals, etc)

The libs are losing their minds right now in the fallout of the Trump-Zelensky meeting. It's what no materialism does to a political ideology.

The meltdown is incredible to watch honestly. Anybody who was capable of even basic material analysis knew this was the only way it could end. You don't even have to be a Marxist to figure this out. People like Mearsheimer had correct analysis from the start, and libs dismissed them as Putler puppets and what not. Now they're acting shocked as if nobody could've ever predicted this outcome.

They’ve been brainwashed into thinking the Democratic Party is as far left as humanly possible and anyone who disagrees is a lowkey Republican.

That's because any Lemmy instance that isn't liberal gets blocked. Look at Hexbear

[–] Confidant6198@lemmy.ml 11 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

How come lemmy.ml hasn’t been blocked then? All the admins are commies

Edit: In lemmy.ml the admins are always in struggle sessions with liberals from other instances. I always wonder if nobody blocked them because Dessalines is an admin and the creator of Lemmy, and they respect that too much.

[–] footfaults@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

lemmy.ml is a special case that I had forgotten about. As you say, it's because Dessalines is on that instance

[–] Confidant6198@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Is it because of Dessalines? That has always been my hypothesis, but I never knew if it was true or not.

[–] footfaults@lemmygrad.ml 12 points 2 weeks ago

I think blocking the instance that Dessalines is on would just be considered too gauche. It's easier for them to just ignore them or maybe they just block the communities with the new features that lemmy implemented instead of defederating

I'm on ml because Lemmy grad is too strict with entry requirements. I was also previously banned on hexbear for calling Bernie a sheepdog, which is factually correct.

[–] Xiisadaddy@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago

Im glad lemmygrad has strict reqs tbh. This place is like a haven. My little commie corner of the internet where i can talk about how cool stalin was without anyone throwing a fit, and getting mad that he killed nazis lol.

[–] deathtoreddit@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Then, Hexbear changed their tuin (especially with Bernie's mid crit of Israel, yet condemnation of Russia) so you might be welcome (too bad they're still dealing with domain issues)

That being said, if you couldn't even get in, when someone as dumb as me did, I think it's more a you problem than me

[–] footfaults@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 2 weeks ago

I think I remember you on Hexbear if this was the same name you used there. How's it going?

[–] Rextreff@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Isn't this a Lemmy instance?

[–] footfaults@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago

yes but it's quite small. Only the most cooked liberals notice and or care about this instance enough to block it
