I bought a raspberry pi 5 when it came out. I've never managed to boot it. Sad, isn't it?

When I launch the raspberry without USB storage or SD card, I get this information.

As soon as I connect something, be it USB storage or SD card with any system (raspbian, debian bookworm, home assistant, anything!) the menu doesn't even appear any more, and all I get is: a black screen / or nothing, as you like.

Help!

Edit: when first booting without any card and then inserting SD card, this is the last message I get:

Check your power source. Swap it as a test. I've spent too much time debugging SD card issues only to discover the power supply was going bad or underperforming.

Sorry, stupidly obvious question but better to ask than not. I would try and get it replaced to be honest. I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.
