Beautiful work! Is the cover hand carved or CNC?

I'd love to take credit for being able to carve like that by hand, but alas, it's CNC.

No shame at all in using a little bit of technology to make something beautiful.

Man, I really need to sit down and learn to carve. That lid is beautiful.

Thank you! I did the carving with a CNC machine though. I'm nowhere near being able to get perfect lines like that by hand.

That is a beautiful example of canarywood and really well used as well. Canarywood is still one of my favorite of the hardwoods, and it still shocks me sometimes just how many different color striations can occur in one species. I'm sure that piece will only get more beautiful as it continues to oxidate.

Yes! This board was sitting in my workshop for 2 years until I could find something worthy of it. I'm beyond thrilled with how it turned out.

I have a plank downstairs right now that will eventually become a custom keyboard rest or something else and it's been down there for a couple years now... It's no where near as nice as this one though.

Gorgeous! Looks like a pizzelle holder.

Middle part would hold my grinder. Outer parts hold my various marijuana types and accessories.
