Won’t it be great when the history books recount how America held off fascism because it memed it away.
Memes in a way also brought back fascism. Remember when T_D (and some parts of 4chan) started out with Trump for president as a joke?
Hell, wasn’t Qanon just 4chan shitposting at first?
yes it was sort of part of an ama kinda joke
Now it is a featured film
dont let your memes be dreams...
I remember back in 2015-16 when his prospects were such a joke. I thought to myself I hope he wins the primary bc it will completely destroy Republican chances.
Well that didn't turn out as we expected.
Look what they did to that poor frog!
Considering that the right-wing memed Trump into office, I think it is only fitting that memes are what destroy them
It Could Happen Here had some good coverage on how this is actually happening.

Check out the 3 part DeSantis' Fashwave Adventure episodes that just came out.
I haven’t listened to them in a while. Thanks.
Yeah I immediately thought of being in school reading about Washington crossing the Delaware and how future generations will read about dark Brandon memes.
on the other hand, people probably felt the same about news, leaked correspondence, "yellow journalism" (fake news), crowd baiting speeches, pamphlets, flyers, and marches throughout pre-digital media.
The DNC should release Dark Brandon NFTs to raise money. Like Trump did.
Counterpoint, if it works that means fascism lost to memes
It makes sense. Memes are propaganda.
And while fascism does use humor to lure people in, it also cannot deal with being the but of a joke
Fascist humor is just the first thing any teenage mind would think of to make their teenage friends giggle. It usually just amounts to calling someone a derogatory name. And, just like a teenager, they get pissed when it's echoed back at them. They are, literally, mentally retarded.
I think you have that backwards.
All propaganda are memes.
Not all memes are propaganda.
Yeah, I should’ve said memes can be propaganda.
That's not a counterpoint, that's just repeating what they said.
So why male models?
The original phrasing to me made it sound like the survivors should be embarrassed to have used memes to defeat fascism. When the fascist are the ones that should be embarrassed
Oh I see it now. Thanks for the clarification!
Counterpoint - yes.
Dark Brandon is an effective marketing campaign that pisses MAGA off and is just stupid fun for progressives to promote. It's sort of accurate, Biden off camera is very assertive and at times mean. I would be too if I was President and trying to get things done.
I feel like old men are just kinda like that, at some point you stop caring if people think you’re rude
Very common for his era for sure.
He called that random guy 'Fats' on live television during a town hall lol. I would never do that.
I try to not wear advertising of any type. It's a personal thing.
I still love the idea of people pushing back on the Trump merch with something that tweaks the MAGA hats back.
We saw a trump style flag the other day. But it said Taylor Swift.
That's the only kind of merch I'm going to buy.
I love the stickers on the site
now my president has to be trending? remember when they spell potato with an e and that was a big deal?
having that on a shirt might sell pretty well though - might be an untapped market.
It is kind of perfect for their goal to make him seem younger and more energetic, and it makes him the impetus of his own actions instead of being "controlled by the far left" as opponents claim.
$22 for a coffee mug.
Probably $2 for the mug, $20 toward the campaign.
It's a donation to the Democratic party plus you get a dark Brandon mug
