I cannot grasp why both my country and the EU are so passive in the face of Israel's crimes against Palestine. God help if Russia kills three civilians with a missile, then it is the big war drum that is brought out and the lamentation of war crimes.

That and a strange form of guilt for not sticking up for the Jews when they were genocided.
Very noticeable here in Germany. I don't think the government cares all that much but it's a big factor regarding public support.
I don't think this is it. The discourse isn't about Jews and there's Jewish protests against Israel all around
I was referring only to why western governments are holding on to Israel, the fact there are also Jews protesting Israel doesn't seem to mean much to them. But I'm not saying this is the only reason, just wanted to say it is not only because Israel is a military partner in the middle east.
Also killing journalists which used to be a big faux pas but now it’s apparently fine
Can people give this speech to the rest of the world’s governments as well? Other politicians also need to be told they should be tried for genocide, too.
