I will not even entertain the chance we win this. I just want Grady and Barnes to get some good minutes.

edit we up 20 at the halfh I still don't see a W

Edit: Fever dreaming we won?

Nobody here fam. Something isn't right with Bucks team.

Bucks don't look good. Giannis with 3 points at half time. They look lifeless at the half.

I'm going to say there's a problem behind the scenes in this Bucks' locker room. It's either beef between players or players and coaches. I see no energy, no enthusiasm, no execution of anything.

38-14 ft advantage as well..

I don't think it's locker room outright. I think it's Adrian Griffin. It is a totally unrealistic expectation to make that type of radical adjustment and expect success for your rookie coach. They let Giannis have too much say, and it's gonna bite them. They literally need a Ty Lue or something.

Nurse would have been better fit there. But he's not a likable person. None of the Raptors' players went over to Nurse during his return to Toronto. All the players went over to AG to hug him. Giannis chose the more likable person. He's going to have to work harder than having 3 points in 1st half vs. Raptors.

End of first quarter: 23-26 Mavs. Bulls bad from 3P, Mavs couldn't miss. Bulls rebounding is great, had one possession where they had like 5 rebounds. Bulls fell behind early, but got back in it.

Sorry I messed up the timing. I’ve been trying to space the threads by start time and put this in wrong. Thanks for adding it.

No worries! I did my own live thread on the Bulls page a few nights ago and thought I'd do it here tonight.

Halfway through Q2, Bulls up 42-38 after hitting two straight 3s. LaVine hit the last one, his shot looked perfect. He might go off tonight.

[-] ctl68@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

As soon as I posted that he nailed two more 3s.

Bulls 50-49 at the half. It really is a pretty even game so far, just like the score suggests.

Bulls are good on defense--active, rebounding, tipping passes. But they're giving up too many 3s. Offensively, we are turning the ball over in dumb ways. Zach was 5-6 on three pointers. Vooch and Drummond looked good, but Vooch seemed a step slow when he came back in the middle of Q2.

Mavs are hitting 3s pretty much anytime they want. I don't catch many Mavs games--Lively is a rookie? He's playing pretty well after starting slow tonight.

I missed the second half. Looks like we sucked the final quarter.

Pelicans made good half-time adjustments, Thunder had 'em by the balls first half.

J-Dub is tough.
