Refried beams, turkey, smoked pepper jack, tinned jalapenos. The turkey was free a long time ago. I disassembled it and canned the meat and made stock out of the bones. Home made taco seasoning.

Cost: $1.85 per person

Why didn’t you put rice in those?

I love rice.

Cheap, filling and delicious.

These tortillas were too small for another ingredient. However I have a pint of turkey meat left over and a whole lot of tortillas. Tomorrow is grilled cheese. Maybe the next day will be rice and turkey burritos.

It don’t look like much, but you know it tastes bomb👌

That's most burritos.

Jet fuel can’t melt refried beams

I hate it when that happens. But I'm leaving it so your comment makes sense.

Oh man have you tried toasting burritos in a pan after you wrap them? It seals them shut and they get so nice and crispy. One of my favourite foods. You're making me hungry..

I thought about deep-frying them or brushing some bacon fat on them and tossing them in the air fryer but these were older tortillas that even when warmed weren't as cooperative as they could have been and my wife kept asking when dinner would be done so I just went with the basic prep.

Gotta get some tapatio on those bad boys or melt some cheddar over it. Still looks pretty good though

The only cheddar I have right now is smoked and it will be at least a week before I can afford to buy any groceries. It would be a waste to put that on a burrito. The peppers added enough heat and flavor that I didn't need the tapatio, cholula, valentina or any home made on it. I might have a jar of homemade Sriracha laying around but if I do it's probably 100% habanero which is dangerous stuff.
