Pakistan claimed on Wednesday it had "credible intelligence" of an imminent Indian military strike and warned of retaliation, as fears of escalating conflict grew following a deadly attack in Kashmir. Relations between the nuclear-armed neighbours have deteriorated since India blamed Pakistan for last week's deadly assault on tourists in Pahalgam, the worst attack on civilians in the region in 25 years.
