Answer Questions never been answered before (probably because they have never been asked)

Ask anything you would consider too vague or too stupid. It is not supposed to be very refined or thought through, it can as well be a string of random symbols, just tell us how to read them. Consider it a very serious questions community, where questions most definitely are not serious, or the other way round. WE APPRECIATE ABSURDISM. WE APPRECIATE CREATIVITY. WE THRIVE ON ANSWERING GENUINE CURIOSITY!

These could be questions which you think a 5 year or 10 year old would ask, but you are not 5/10 year old and you don't have anybody to ask.

preferably the electro magnetic kind.

My current vote is 193 nm, and maybe 404 nm

30.4 nm (Helium II line from the Sun). It provides the bulk of energy in Earth’s thermosphere.

that is a really solid choice

I was also thinking of adding ~13nm, from EUVV, because i use many semi devices which require that λ to exist (not that particular number, but anything in that range) - and since it is only a range, i can't call it 'a' wavelength

any reasons, seems to be on the edge of red and N-IR, but don't know any transition nearby, or any specific corresponding color (other than "red"s)

It's in the red-edge band, and it's used to estimate earth vegetation from satellites

that is great, thanks

0.729 Å, 17 keV.

Why? Nostalgia from running measurements at this wavelength with the bros.

Second best? 1 Å,12.398 keV

A specific flavour of X-ray diffraction: Dark-field imaging

I happen to have done it too.
