Karl urban became the character. Almost took me out of the movie he was so on point.

I suspect it’s a reference to James Doohan’s amputated finger.
Karl Urban's portrayal of that character was just phenomenal. I mean, it might be one of the best performances I've ever seen.
I think they were all great. It's a fine line to play iconic characters without coming off as a parody or disrespectful. Kudos to the director as well for guiding them.
