I kinda like the idea of the players constantly antagonizing the DM. Kermit could pull it off but I think he needs to be a player hero to pull off the script.

Maybe the first episode could be shot with the famous actors playing it up for the camera, and the rest of the campaign could be just a podcast with the Muppet voice actors and maybe slideshow illustrations for YouTube/Patreon?
I love the original idea, but there's no way that would be sustainable for the art least hour a week content I feel most podcast subscribers would expect.
Everyone else in the real world is human, everything else in the fantasy world is muppets.
Except Tim Curry.
An entire movie with half being lip synced live action sounds awful to make. That's a lot of lip syncing.
But I'm sure there's a bunch of tools and talent out there that could make this happen. And it'd be a fantastic movie.
Foreign dubs are basically whole movies lipsynced from start to finish and that happens all the time.
Also fair. but that actually opens up a whole bunch of opportunity. There could be so many easter eggs hidden in what the live action actors are actually saying, versus what the mupets are saying.

I'd watch that. Maybe add another level of innuendo and add Jack Black and Dwayne Johnson to the cast.
I was just saying they've tried already...they haven't made more so I don't think so
