A crowd of knees popping like popcorn echoed trough the world, just now..
I have 2 bad knees. One I obliterated when I was a teenager. Ever broke a drumstick from a thigh and had it hang on by a piece or two of ligament? That's basically what I did to my right knee. I guess I should be happy that it still works at all. The other one is just wear and tear. Nerves are all dead in the right one. So at least it doesn't hurt. The left one gives me hell tho.
Okay so a cacophony of cracking and one loud pop, an echo of your right knee crying the fuck out, remembering horrors rended past.

Is this a good colour indication in the game?
I am unfamiliar with the (assume) Oregon trail.
The color is because old monochrome monitors used to be green and black.
It's Oregon trail but that's the screen you see when you die. Ie it normally says something like you drowned while crossing the river or you died of dysentery.
It varied depending on the computer running it.
Its a bit brighter and more saturated than the cheap monochrome screens of the era.
