i don’t know if i should delete this soon because he doesn’t want me to worry, and i introduced him to lemmy, but my partner will be homeless later this month.

he is very poor. his family is surviving on government money. his family are also Mexican and discriminated against as minorities. i told him i would teach him how to raise a gofundme or something. he works hard.

he will be homeless in a few weeks and he needs the money to live somewhere. i feel so powerless and horrible. i live with my family and they don’t know him well enough to probably want to help or feel like they can.

i feel so powerless. i feel so bad. how can this happen to someone like him? his family is broken because of their poverty.

he doesn’t want me to worry but how can i not? sorry if this is unclear, im very upset but trying not to be. i love him so much, i truly do ❤️

whatever he needs in my power i will give to him. i love him. he told me not to donate money but i think i will. this is mainly a vent btw, not really advice-seeking.
