Yeah, I wish I could play an instrument.
I couldn't play for decades. Then i sat down and did my homework, filled a notebook of music theory stuff, anything i could find, and now I'm in two bands at 44 years old.
It's possible. It's not easy. You have to put the work in. But it is definitely possible.
They would require not being lazy. If I weren't lazy I wouldn't be fat. But thanks for the encouragement.

I can't remember anybody talking about an "ass trumpet", as funny as it sounds.
ah true, violin is prolly more widely used in high german colloqueal speak, although in rural east germany we do say Arschtrompete from time to time. Thanks for correcting me though!
Last time I tried that, they called the police on me.
