Nintendo has not released repair parts or manuals for the Switch 2. They didn’t do it for the original Switch either. Nor for the Switch Lite. Nor for the Switch OLED.

That’s disappointing on its own, but it might also be a violation of New York’s Right to Repair law. If you live in New York and can’t get the parts or documentation you need, our friends at Repair.org are collecting complaints for the attorney general.

Still not interested. Nintendo's greed has really turned me off this time around.

Between their greed and their hostility towards their fans, I have zero interest in supporting Nintendo anytime soon. A company that acts like this shouldn't be rewarded for it.

Very frustrating. I got the switch 1 at launch and played the fuck out of it. switch 2 is fine value wise, but with the cost of games and the unrepairablity I think I'll stick to my PC.

I really don't understand why consoles are sold at a loss when you could release an emulator and sell digital games for the console, make drivers for the controller and make bank.

Are Nintendo consoles sold at a loss? I always assumed the lower specs kept them profitable.

Also are you paying $60-70 for a Nintendo game that runs on your PC? Right now they never have to reduce that price and it still sells.

Also are you gonna pay another $10 per month to play online?

Nintendo has their own market right now where they make bank, there is no reason to change that.
