I'm not sure but I've taken dumps that have smelled like rotten corpses or how dumpsters smell in 100 F weather. So it's not surprising it may also smell like dogshit.

Both human and dog feces have significant variation in how they smell, so this question is somewhat meaningless. Dogs are carnivores, so if you ate meat, your feces is probably going to smell more like dog feces than if you ate only plant-based food.
Sounds like you and your dog might be sharing the same gut microbiome. Does your dog lick your mouth?
