If it's an imitation of her own voice, why not just do the voice work yourself?
Although, I can see the point when translating into other languages.
She didn't write it. Why would she dedicate the time and effort to read it?
Doing audio books is incredibly hard work. 8 hours of reading every word engagingly without mistakes for 2 or 3 days.
