This isn't just Gen Z. Yes, it's happening to them, but it's also happening to the rest of us. It's impacting low to middle income folks the most, because we can't afford the rising costs of, well, everything.

Job security is also extremely hard to find these days, and Healthcare costs have been getting worse ever since Obama left office.

It's not a laughing matter. The poors will pay, and the rich people won't notice.

"how much can one banana cost, Michael? Ten dollars?"

The folks with brains voted blue. The dumbasses voted for Trump.

I strongly dislike democrats, for the record. I'm independent, and I really think democrats are shit. But I voted for Kamala.

Giving your life for $2k/month... Jesus. That's less than minimum wage where I live. And they don't even get most of it, or perhaps any of it. That's... Wow.

The fact we're still on Windows should tell you something about Linux.

I've seen this at least a dozen times, and I've literally never seen "for" on there. Lol, wow.

It's expansive here in the places you may want to live, but seriously... It's worth it. There's also a lot of cheap places that aren't as ideal.

My employer doesn't care what you think.

This makes me so immediately enraged every single time.

You guys have lawns?

For those not aware, Google is rolling out their new AI-based "Generative AI" search, which seems to mesh Bard with the standard experience.

I asked it today why Google no longer follows their "don't be evil" motto... The results are pretty hilarious.

I hope it's alright to ask a question here, because I'm very curious about an important facet of this instance:

I noticed this morning that when I visit some of the communities hosted on other instances, I'm seeing an incorrect vote count, and few to no comments. Is this due to the recent breach, and does it relate to defederating from other instances temporarily?
