He inadvertently did do this.

I voted for him and Kamala, and that was the right move, but we had better candidates that could have easily won against Trump.

Pour one out for Bernie, and what we could have had.

Meanwhile, Trump is so afraid of China and Russia that he cut all US aid a few months back.

Pathetic coward.

Relationships like that are ending all over the US. It's insane just how much damage they've all done to their own families.

My own family members I've cut off are still deluding themselves into thinking Trump is just a republican version of Obama.

I suspect many of them are racist at this stage.

99% of them are sooner to literally get on their knees and offer their mouth than ever speak against him.

Trump supporters are what they are. They have no spine. They are cowards that fear everything but the things they understand and think they control. They are the dirt of the earth, meant to be tread on, elevated only by the worms that crawl from it and tell them fanciful stories of their pretensive grandeur.

Better to be dead with your dignity than alive and in support of this man. The people shall take turns defecating on his grave when he's gone... All of us, and all of those who call themselves his loyal followers.

There are none truly loyal to men such as this.

It's more than any of us have done. Often, genuine actions and words are much stronger than any impact they may initially have.

This is how red states look to blue states within the US, as well.

God is angry at the Republican, red states for electing Trump.

This is just them trying to punish California because we didn't vote for him, and we regularly pull huge numbers for anti-trump protests.

If he remains in power long enough, the United States may be competing against the fourth largest economy in the world (California).

He seems all right to me.

California resident here, we're just going to succeed at this point if the GOP keeps power.

Thanks for all the... paper towels.

We can all go entire books at this point with the things we can't believe...

This timeline is fucking insane, and twice as depressing as anything I thought I'd ever live through.

It's really not helpful unless you filter the results carefully.

If you fail to understand when it bullshits you, which is most is the time (literally), then you walk away with misinformation and/or a much larger problem than you initially sought to solve.

For those not aware, Google is rolling out their new AI-based "Generative AI" search, which seems to mesh Bard with the standard experience.

I asked it today why Google no longer follows their "don't be evil" motto... The results are pretty hilarious.

I hope it's alright to ask a question here, because I'm very curious about an important facet of this instance:

I noticed this morning that when I visit some of the communities hosted on other instances, I'm seeing an incorrect vote count, and few to no comments. Is this due to the recent breach, and does it relate to defederating from other instances temporarily?

Example: https://lemmy.zip/c/gaming 85 total comments https://sh.itjust.works/c/gaming@lemmy.zip 12 total comments
