Did not know about kDrive. The pricing is quite impressive, very cheap for 3TB!

What do you guys think of Backblaze?

I like having my files locally on hard drives, and I pay for Backblaze to back the files up for when a hard drive eventually will die on me

Hetzner storage boxes are very cheap. Like 3 euros per tb per month, pay as you go.

Overall a pretty good guide, beyond the Proton CEO statements they act like the Apple. As in a pain to switch away from them. They love to do ecosystem lock in.

With what did service did you have that issue? I switched to them a while back and am still content, except for their password manager (it had too many small problems for me), but it was as easy to export everything as it was to import it.

Anyone know why they mention kdrive uses only office? Is that an issue? I've used the suite before and it was decent. Afaik, it's open source and works fine on Linux.
